Get educated even with a tight budget! Online education helps you to save on costs like fuel, parking, books, child care, and more. And since so many of these programs are self-paced, they can offer you the opportunity to graduate in less time than a traditional program. Less time spent in college equals lower educational costs. Plus, many online degrees have lower tuition fees. Online courses help you become tech-savvy: Distance-learning programs make use of sophisticated technology to provide education. By accessing study material electronically, submitting assignments via websites, and participating on online forums to interact with professors and classmates on a day-to-day basis, you can become more technologically savvy than your classroom counterparts.
The ability to work with a tutor to apply one-to-one learning to their study, improves educational outcomes significantly more than watching YouTube videos or working through online worksheets. Human tutors are also more adept at encouraging, motivating and empathising with students than even the most sophisticated computer-based intelligent tutoring systems. An online tutor can tailor learning to the needs of one student rather than the collective needs of an entire classroom. Traditional tutoring no longer compares favourably with the convenience, versatility and delivery of on-demand, online tutoring. When it comes to seeking academic help outside of the classroom, online tutoring is a highly effective solution and Studiosity is proud to be the industry leaders in this field.

While many college students supplement their education by enrolling in free massive open online courses (MOOCs), one-on-one online tutorial programs are very much an option for university-level learners as well. Most accredited universities provide on-campus tutors, and many have expanded to also include web-based services that don’t require face-to-face instruction; in either case, the tutor is typically another college student with expertise in a given field. Many private companies have also launched online tutorial services aimed exclusively at college students. Check out some of these programs in our list of options in the section immediately below.
First-Time Loan Applicants: The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) determines the student’s eligibility and amount of federal aid he/she can receive. This is your first step in applying for aid. Complete the FAFSA. All students who plan on taking a federal loan through WBS for the first time are required by federal regulation to complete Entrance Loan Counseling and complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN). WBS is committed to making your seminary education as affordable as possible. While we work to keep tuition low, we recognize that many students need additional financial aid to attend seminary. The scholarships below reflect our commitment to investing in your ministry preparation.
